1. The direction from Da Nang to Hoi An

Based on the experience of moving from Da Nang to Hoi An, you should first determine how many directions to go there. The distance is not so long, about 30km, soo you can quickly get here through specific routes:

Direction 1: From Danang, Truong Sa Vo Nguyen Giap / Lac Long Quan and turn to Hoi An

Direction 2: From Da Nang, Vo Chi Cong – Lac Long Quan / Vo Nguyen Giap, then switch to Hoi An

Direction 3: From Da Nang, follow National Highway 1A about 27km, you turn to Vinh Dien and then turn left to Huynh Thuc Khang and then turn to Hoi An

Direction 4: Follow Le Van Hien and follow Da Nang provincial road to Hoi An.

2. Danang to Hoi An by bus

The bus is a vehicle that many people choose when they need to move from Da Nang to Hoi An. Since 2015, a bus route connecting Da Nang and Hoi An has been put into operation, with the desire to help the tourists traveling from Danang toHoi An most simply. Transfer from Danang to Hoi An by bus will start at 5:30 am, and the last trip from Hoi An to Danang is at 6:00 pm. The ticket price is very low, 25,000 VND / ticket / one way (about 1 US dollar / 125 Japanese yen). The travel time is about 80 minutes.

3. Danang to Hoi An by taxi

If you do not want to wait in line for the bus or stop continuously, you can choose another option, which is a taxi. Taxis have long been considered the fastest, most convenient, and also the most luxurious. Of course, the luxury will come with its price of about 350,000 VND – 450,000 VND / way (about 15-20 US dollars/ 1750 – 2250 yen) or 550,000 VND / 2 ways (about 24 US dollars/ 2750 yen). This form of transportation will be suitable if you are traveling with family or friends, then sharing money will help you save the cost.

4. Danang to Hoi An by travel car

In case you travel to Da Nang – Hoi An in groups of 10 or more, traveling by bus is not very reasonable. You then have two other options: coach or travel car.

According to experience moving from Da Nang to Hoi An, you should rent a car to travel. You can rent a car with many types of prices and many seats for about 500.000 – 600.000 VND (about 25 – 30 US dollars/ 2500 – 3000 yen), in which 7-seat car ranges from 700 to 1 million VND (about 32 – 50 US dollars/ 3500-5000 yen) and a 29-seat car can cost from 1,500,000 to 1,800,000 VND (about 65-80 US dollars/ 7500-9000 yen). 5. Danang to Hoi An by motorbike

Motorbike is probably the most ideal means of transportation from Da Nang to Hoi An. It is a suitable way for young people to experience the feeling of backpackers.

Although the distance is only about 30km, traveling together on a motorbike, admiring the beautiful scenery on the road and singing along the road is really a wonderful experience. The price of renting a motorbike is also quite cheap, depending on the type of car. The price ranges from 80,000 to 200,000 VND/ motorbike/day (about 3.5- 9 US dollars/ 400 – 1000 yen). The rental car can be a manual bike or a scooter.

After renting a car, you had better find a gas station nearby to fill up because there is not much oil in the vehicle to move far away. You should bring identification such as identity cards, driver’s licenses, etc. Remember to wear a helmet, too.
